Rogelio Romero Campos, 53, of Berryville, AR was called Home by his Lord on July 14th, 2022, in his sister’s Maria Teresa and Miguel Galicia’s home. Rogelio was born in Cuautepec, Hgo. Mexico on November 15, 1968, to Manuel Romero Macias and Leonarda Campos De Romero.
Rogelio is survived by his beloved daughter Navi Grace Romero, and his siblings Maribel, Enedina, Cristina, Manuel, Guadalupe, Virginia, Gloria, Martha, Maria Teresa, Martin, Miguel, and Marcos.
Rogelio fought courageously against cancer for 16 years. Despite his illness he maintained a positive outlook on life and served his community in any way he could. Rogelio had a special place in his heart dedicated to assisting those in need of transportation, translation, or temporary shelter. Rogelio had very many friends and he loved them all dearly. Rogelio enjoyed buying and reselling unique items. Prior to his illness, Rogelio was a long-term employee of Tyson’s, and he was known for his hard work and dedication.
As a lifelong follower of Christ, Rogelio has been reunited with those who have gone before him, his parents Manuel and Leonarda, his grandmother Enedina, his brother Jorge, and his brother-in-law’s Daniel, Mardonio, and Lorenzo. He is now in the presence of our Lord.
Celebration of Life service and Mass for Rogelio will be Wednesday, July 20th at 9:00 AM at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Berryville. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Berryville. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 19th at Smith Family Funeral Home in Green Forest. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Hope Cancer Resources.

Rogelio Romero Campos de 53 años de Berryville, AR regresó a Casa con su Creador el 14 de Julio del 2022 en el hogar de su hermana Maria Teresa y Miguel Galicia. Rogelio nació en Cuautepec, Hidalgo, México el 15 de Noviembre de 1968. Sus padres: Manuel Romero Macias y Leonarda Campos de Romero.
Lo sobreviven su amada hija Navi Grace Romero, sus hermanos: Maribel, Enedina, Cristina, Manuel, Guadalupe, Virginia, Gloria, Martha, Maria Teresa, Martin, Miguel y Marcos.
Rogelio peleó valientemente contra el cáncer por 16 años, y a pesar de su enfermedad siempre vivió su vida positivamente, servía activamente en la comunidad en cualquier manera que estaba a su alcance. Rogelio tenía en su corazón un lugar especial para aquellos que necesitaban ayuda con transportación, traducción o alojamiento temporal. Rogelio tenía muchos amigos y los amaba incondicionalmente a todos. Rogelio disfrutaba mucho comprar y revender artículos excepcionales. Antes de su enfermedad Rogelio trabajó por muchos años en Tyson y era conocido por su alta ética laboral y dedicación.
Rogelio, quien era creyente de Jesucristo, se ha reunido con aquellos quienes se adelantaron antes que él, sus padres: Manuel y Leonarda, su abuelita Enedina, su hermano Jorge, y sus cuñados: Daniel, Mardonio y Lorenzo. El, ahora está en la presencia de nuestro Señor.
