Ronnie Newberry Jackie Ronald Ron Newberry, 60, of Green Forest, Arkansas died Thursday, March 27, 2008. He was born in Harrison AR.on April 4, 1947, the son of the late Jackie Vondean Newberry and Vesta Allred Blevins. Ron grew up on a farm at Osage and attended school in Alpena. He was employed on various Pipeline construction jobs where he worked as a heavy equipment operator. He also worked on cross-country construction. He lived in Gulf Port, Mississippi for eight years before moving back to Carroll County to retire, due to bad health. In his spare time he enjoyed outdoor activities, especially farm related work. He is survived by his wife Joann Conerly Newberry of Gulf Port, Mississippi, two sons; Scott Newberry and wife Shannon of Del City, OK., Alex Newberry of Alpena, AR., daughter, Lora Baker of Alpena, AR., two step-sons; Byron Conerly and Brandon Conerly, two brothers; Jackie Newberry of Fayetteville, AR. and Earl Newberry of Tontitown, AR., four grandchildren; Megan and Brandon Newberry of Del City, OK., Lexi Baker of Alpena and Keara Moore of Enumclaw, WY. He is preceded in death by his parents, Vondean Newberry of Osage, AR. and Vesta May Blevins of Harrison. Celebration Of Life services, 2:00 P. M., Saturday, March, 29, 2008 at Smith Family Funeral Home in Green Forest AR. Rev.
