Santiago Ramirez-Trujillo, age 51, of Alpena, passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2022. He was born April 18, 1970, in Tonala Chiapas, Mexico, the son of Emidio Ramirez-Hernandez and Maria Cruz Trujillo-Guzman.
On April 11, 1992, he met the love of his life, Antonia Fuentes and together in marriage they had 3 children. He was a welder at Tanners Pipe and Steel. He enjoyed welding, fishing, soccer, eating out, and learning new things, often taking on new challenges to discover how to put a project together. But most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. His grandchildren were his pride and joy. He was of the Catholic faith.
He is survived by his wife; 1 son, Victor Orellana; 2 daughters, Jasmin Ramirez and Jessica Fuentes; granddaughters Camila Palma-Ramirez, Dahlia Orellana, Natalie Calderon, and Daleyza Doyle; grandsons Brian Calderon and Diego Lopez; 3 sisters, Silvia Guadalupe Ramirez-Trujillo, Sandra Luz Ramirez-Trujillo, and Maria Del Rosario Trujillio-Guzman; and 1 brother, Martin Eduardo Ramirez-Trujillio. 1 son-in-law, Luis Palma: 1 daughter-in-law, Odra Maricela Deleon.
He is preceded in death by his mom, Maria Cruz Trujillo-Guzman and 1 grandmother, Luz Maria Guzman-Gallegos.
Celebration of Life service for Santiago will be1:00 PM, Friday, January 14, 2022 at Smith Family Funeral Home Chapel in Green Forest with internment to follow at Maple Leaf Cemetery in Harrison. Visitation will be Thursday, January 13, 2022 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the funeral home chapel.
