Sean Brady Keeling, born on 12/22/1973, left this world on March 19 2021 after a long courageous struggle with cancer. Through it all, he found comfort in his family, friends, and his Christian faith. It was completely easy to care for and love this man, what a beautiful soul he was. Sean never met a stranger and was always there to help whomever he could. Never talking bad about anyone and rarely ever complaining, even in the worst of pain.
Growing up on a farm helped shape him into the hardworking responsible man that he was. Hunting, fishing, golf, and basketball were things he loved to do in some of his spare time. Otherwise he was hanging out with family and friends, joking, laughing, and making memories.
How unfortunate that his sweet new grandson, Indy, didn't have the opportunity that we did to know him. I'm quite sure he would have wanted to teach him how to hunt and fish and play basketball. Though more importantly he would have taught him to be kind, nurturing, and fair to everyone. Oh my goodness, how we miss you so much already my dear!
Sean sadly was preceded in death by his brother Scott. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; his daughter, her husband and grandson, Caitlyn, Kyle, and Indy Halberg; his parents Tommy and Pam; brother Lance; sister and brother-in-law Lara and Rory Bates; sister-in-law, Angela Bishop; and his nephew and nieces, Cy and London Bates and Isabella Bishop. And we ALL are in agreement, that just knowing him made us better people.
A celebration of Sean’s life will be held at our home in St Joe @ 2:00 pm on Sunday March 28th with a potluck to follow. 3824 Osbourne Rd. Or turn on 374 East to Osbourne Rd, then follow the posted signs.
