Sheila Walker

Sheila Lenore Walker, 85, of Green Forest went to be with the Lord on September 20, 2021.  She was born November 02, 1935 in Woodlake CA to Wallace and Mable (Harold) Simmons.

She graduated from Jasper High School in 1953  and on January 1, 1955 she married the love of her life, Eldon Duane Walker.  Together they farmed, owning a grade A dairy farm for 30 years, raising cattle and a few horses.  Sheila was kind, gentle and an honest woman, who was hard working, frugal and intelligent.  She loved the lord, Church, and her family and she stated many times that her children and grandchildren were her legacy.  She was a member of the Osage Baptist Church in Osage Arkansas.
 
Sheila is survived by her son Tony Walker and wife Sandra of Burleson TN, Rose McCullough and husband Joe of Rogers, Charlie Walker and wife Melissa of Green Forest,  Elizabeth Scitern of Alpena, daughter-in-law Michelle Walker of Green Forest, grandchildren, Andrew Walker, Ben Walker and wife Robyn, Michael McCullough and wife Cassie, Zak Sutton (Amanda Sutton), Jeffrey Walker and wife Kelsey, Andrew Wilson, Josie Walker, Brook Wilson, great grandchildren, Miles, Gunnar, Braelyn, Sutton, Addison and Evren .  Besides her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Eldon Walker, her son, Alan Walker and sister, Sherry Randall.
 
Celebration of life will be 10:00 am Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Smith Family Funeral Home in Green Forest Arkansas.  Pastor Lannie Younger from Osage Baptist Church will officiate the service.  Interment will follow at Glenwood Cemetery in Green Forest Arkansas.  Visitation will be  5:00 – 7:00 pm Friday, September 24, 2021 at Smith Family Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to charity of choice.
