Sylva M Palmer

Sylva M. Palmer, age 81, of Green Forest, AR., died Sunday, December 21, 2008 at St. Johns Hospital in Berryville. She was born June 12, 1927, in Stockton, CA., to the late Claude Russell and Annie (Jones) Russell. On September 13, 1947 she was united in marriage to Jim H. Palmer and to this union three children were born. Sylva was very devoted to her family, enjoyed horseback riding, dancing and was a talented seamstress. She is survived by three sons; Miles R. Palmer and wife Kathy of Great Falls, VA., Lyle J. Palmer and wife Becky of Green Forest, Van L. Palmer of Green Forest, two brothers; Tommy Russell of Green Forest, Ferrell Russell of San Antonia, TX., four grandchildren Aric, Kira, Oliver, Steven and one great-grandson Dillon Palmer. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jim Palmer in 2001, her parents, Claude and Annie Russell, three brothers; Marvin, Merle and E. S. Russell.
