Terry Wayne Armer of Green Forest passed away Saturday, July 18, 2026, at the age of 72. He was born February 17, 1954, in Tulsa, OK, one of four sons born to Herbert and Virginia Lucille Armer.

Terry enjoyed life on the simple side. Growing up he enjoyed riding horses and showing cattle at the fair. Later in life he traded in riding horses for a different kind of horse riding… motorcycles. He loved the freedom of the road and the scenery of the Ozarks, riding until he could not ride anymore, finally being reunited with his son Dusty. He spent his career working in construction and he spent many years working as a boilermaker for Exxon. His friends and family will miss him dearly.

Terry is survived by his brother Tracy Armer, cousin Nick Barton, granddaughter Brittany Armer, nieces Amanda Armer, Brandy Armer, Danna Bilderback, and Virginia Fleming.

He is preceded in death by his parents Herbert and Virginia Lucille Armer, son Dusty Armer, and brothers Larry Armer and Steve Armer.

Celebration of Life service will be graveside, 2:00, Thursday, July 23, 2026, at Plumlee Cemetery with chaplain Rex Griffin officiating. Online condolences can be made at smithfamilyfuneralhome.net.
