Terry Lynn Fancher, a resident of Rule, Arkansas, went to his heavenly home on Sunday, February 12, 2023, at the age of 74. He was born April 6, 1948, in Carrollton, Arkansas to Clifford and Wanda (Elmore) Fancher.

On June 30, 1968, he was united in marriage with the love of his life, Janell Bishop. They raised their three children on a farm outside of Green Forest in the Rule Community.

Terry started teaching at Green Forest High School in the fall of 1970 and influenced countless lives during the next 28 years, until his retirement in 1998. He also spent many years as a field representative for Morris Cattle Company. After retiring from teaching, he spent several years managing the Bar D Ranch and then later selling insurance for Farmers Mutual, all while raising cattle and spoiling his grandchildren on his family farm.

Terry is survived by his three children, Lea Wilson and her husband Chad of Berryville, Erin Brewer and her husband Todd of Green Forest, and Alex Fancher and his wife Crystal of Green Forest; six grandchildren, Kyla, Shane, Colton, Garrett, Emma, and Carlea Belle; his brother Gary of Green Forest; and his step sister in law Judy Dodgen of Kansas City, MO; sister in laws Glenda Jorgensen, Sharon Needham, Beverly Dorsey and husband Dale, Teresa Kleffman and husband Steven, Sandy Bishop Williams and Carol Bishop; brother in laws Von Bishop and wife Brenda, and Bobby Bishop. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews who know him as “Terry Daddy”.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Janell; his parents, Clifford and Wanda Fancher and his stepmother Dean Fancher; stepsister Donna Dodgen and step brother Dwight Dodgen; brother in laws Ronnie Bishop, Jimmy Bishop, Marvin Jorgensen, and Carroll Needham.
