Tommy Snow Obituary

Tommy Kay Snow departed this life June 16, 2025, in his home. He was 73 years old when he left this world to be with his Lord and Savior. He was born February 8, 1952, in Harrison, AR, to John Rayburn Snow and Essie Elizabeth (Bailey) Snow. He was blessed with 10 siblings whom he loved dearly.

Tommy was a self-employed electrician for many years. He certainly made a comfortable living on a 7th grade education. He loved what he did for a living, but he loved talking even more. If you knew Tommy, you knew that to be true, especially later in years when Bill began working with him. They were more than brothers, they were best friends. They were so close, that they often finished each other’s sentences. Oh, the stories they could tell! And Tommy never knew a stranger; they were simply friends he hadn’t met yet. This trait he passed on to his children.

Tommy was extremely passionate about fishing. He shared that passion with Paula and Johnny. They both passed that love and passion on to their children, a legacy he was so proud of. If you’ve never heard him tell a story about fishing the creek drops at Enon, or the stories of fishing under lights, you hadn’t talked to him long enough.

Tommy had a laugh so contagious, you couldn’t help but laugh too. He knew once he had you laughing with him, he had you hooked. You might as well take your coat off and have a seat because you were going to be there a while, especially if he led the story off with, “Now listen…”, you were going to be there another hour! He was also a member of North Ark Church of Christ.

Above all, Tommy’s deepest love was that for his family. He had one true love in his life, Helen Louise (Epley) Snow. They were united in marriage November 17, 1971. His brother Fred did the honors. Out of this union was born two children, Paula Dawn Snow and Johnny Thad Snow and his wife Richell of Green Forest. Even though Tommy and Helen divorced not once, but twice, Helen continued to care for Tommy until her death on January 26, 2024.

Tommy was also extremely proud of his grandchildren, Natosha K. DeMeyer and her husband Cody, Weston J. Parton and his partner Lexy, and Cullen Richardson, all of Green Forest, and Kaylin R. Snow of Bella Vista. Tommy adored his 7 great grandchildren, Hudson, Hyatt, Nola, Holden, Hixon, Hayes, and Timber.

Tommy is survived by his children, Paula and Johnny, 3 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and siblings Edith (L.D.) Blevins, Shirley Baughman, Wilma (Dan) Ohler, JR (Fairye) Snow, Phyllis (Ron) McNair, Rick (June) Snow, and Laura (Rob) Fraraccio, and a host of family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents John and Essie Snow, brother Fred (Sonny) Snow, brother and best friend Bill Snow, and sister Ruthie Snow Smith.
