Travis Boling Obituary

“In the end, it’s not the years in your life that count. It’s the life in your years.” ~Abraham Lincoln

It is with great sadness that the family of Travis Aaron Boling announce his sudden passing in Little Rock, AR on May 23, 2023, at the age of 27.

Travis Aaron Boling was born November 2, 1995, in Harrison, AR to Joe Udell Boling and Dawn Marie Lacey.

From an early age, Travis was an adventurous and a free-spirited soul, who loved the outdoors. His passion for motor sports was fueled by learning to ride a 3-wheeler early on and he never stopped riding. He loved riding dirt bikes, motorcycles, and was a master at riding a 4-wheeler. He enjoyed off-roading and was always looking for new paths to take or which rock to climb next. Travis loved mountain biking, camping, kayaking, and hiking. He had many adventures and some of his adventures included traveling coast to coast, hiking in the Ozarks, riding across the mountains of Utah and Colorado, as well as skydiving. Travis enjoyed it most when he could include his family and friends in his adventures. If they were not able to come along then at the very least, he would share stories of his adventures and an avid teller of many stories he was.

Travis had a very big heart. He loved animals, especially his dogs. If he saw a turtle in the road, he would be sure to help it safely across. Those fortunate enough to truly know Travis would immediately recognize him as the man who would give the clothes he was wearing to help anyone in need and so he did.

Travis had the personality and natural charisma to make friends no matter the situation. His laugh was infectious to everyone around him. He wanted everyone to have a good time and would go out of his way to cheer people up, and if needed, he would be a goofball in order to get the job done and his favorite job of all was working alongside his brother, Carl.

The happiest day in his life was when he wed the love of his life in 2016. Travis loved being a very proud father to Hayden. He cherished the time he spent teaching his nephews (Alex, Abel, Max, and Gavin) about his love of the outdoors and motor sports. He loved his family very deeply and enjoyed anytime his family could gather.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Judi Lacey and Dennis Gibbs, Verne and Vera Boling, and former father-in-law Richard Ivy.

Travis is survived by his “Darlin”, Tiffany; son Hayden; father Joe, mother Dawn, guardians David Atkinson and Annette McClane, his siblings Sasha, Carl (wife-Kory), Audra, Zach, Bobby (wife-Katrina) and Cory (wife-Brittany), many nephews, nieces, aunts, and uncles.

As difficult as it is with his passing, Travis would want his family and friends to find peace and celebrate his life. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 11, 2023, from 1-3 PM at the Hiwasse Community Center, 13690 Firehouse Lane, in Hiwasse, AR. A private celebration of his life will be held afterwards for immediate family.

He is now at peace and will be deeply missed by all. Ride on, Travis!
