Trissia Faye Koone

Trissia Faye Koone of Green Forest passed away December 23, 2025, at the age of 82. She was born September 5, 1943, in Pikesville, KY, to Mack Beavers and Laura Thacker.

Trissia married Billy Ray Koone on January 1, 1965, and he preceded her in death on November 4, 1995. Together they raised 6 children, Laura, Anita, Susan, Travis, Rick, and Wayne. She enjoyed gardening and planting flowers. She loved her job and her friends she worked with at Tyson Foods where she was employed from January 5, 1987, until her retirement on December 1, 2024.

Trissia is survived by her 6 children, Laura A. Bunton of Rogers, Anita K. (Scott) VanConett of Green Forest, Susan B. (Chuck) DeLozier of Green Forest, Travis R. Koone of Rogers, Rick Koone of Winston, Oregan, and Wayne (JoAnne) Koone of Chimes, AR; grandchildren David Rowlette, Austin (Ashley) Bunton, Alyssa Bunton, Zachary VanConett, Jake (Esther) VanConett, Cody DeLozier, Trace DeLozier, Geoffry Koone, Brock Koone, and Cristy Koone; great grandchildren Bailey VanConett, Elanore VanConett, Rebecca Vanconett, and Kimber Bunton; and sister Phyllis Windsor.

She is preceded in death by her parents Mack Beavers and Laura Stephens, and brothers David Stephens, Ronnie Stephens, and William Beavers.

Celebration of Life will be a 10 AM graveside service at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Rupert, AR, with Sister Sheila Gardner officiating.  Online condolences can be made smithfamilyfuneralhome.net.
