Whitney James Zander Parlocha, lovingly known as “Whit,” passed away on July 17, 2025, at the age of 60. Born on March 3, 1965, Whit was a gentle giant whose kindness, humor, and warmth left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.
Whit was best known for his legendary hugs, deep sports knowledge, and his uncanny ability to name any song and its artist without missing a beat. His infectious smile and quick wit made him a joy to be around, and his sense of humor was truly one of a kind.
He is survived by his two sons, Andrew Parlocha, and Trevor Parlocha and his wife Emily; his brother Bobby Dalton and sister-in-law Phyllis; his sister Martha Bookout and brother-in-law David; his stepmother Pamela Parlocha; twelve beloved grandchildren; and one cherished great-granddaughter. Most importantly, he leaves behind the love of his life and best friend, Neva Taylor.
Though words cannot fully capture the love and laughter Whit brought into the world, his legacy will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. He will be deeply missed, always remembered, and forever loved.
