William Chaney Obituary

William Starlin Chaney Jr, born on Monday, January 11,1965 to William Starlin Chaney and Fern Mae Fitchue in Harrison, Arkansas.  He departed this life at 2:46 am on July 9th in Fayetteville, Arkansas at the age of 55.

 William was the owner and operator of Chaney Trucking, he had a fleet of 3 trucks. William and his mother, Fern always had a special bond, there wasn’t anything they wouldn’t do for each other. She once  said that they could talk about anything. Willie had a love for the Razorbacks…..GO HOGS!!! He was a traveler of the world, he traveled to Egypt, Greece, France, Belgium, Germany, Netherlands, United Kingdom, Jerusalem, and many other places around the world. 

 William  is survived by his son, William Starlin Chaney III and wife, Phylicia, Piper, Parker and unborn child, of Rule, Arkansas. Mother, Fern Chaney of Green Forest, Arkansas. Five sisters, Sherry and Jimmy Jones of Pea Ridge, Arkansas. Tammy and Larry Swofford of Oak Grove, Arkansas. Rhonda and Larry French of Morrilton, Arkansas. Belinda Harp of Fayetteville, Arkansas. Misti Rincon of Green Forest, Arkansas. Nephews: Johnny Straw, Matt Swofford, Clint Harp, Heath Harp, Coby Rincon, and Jacob Rincon. Nieces: Brittney Kirkland, Mariah Rincon, Heather Howard, Lacie Hudgins, and Larissa Weatherall. Great Nieces and Nephews: Caddie and Koddie Straw, Bentley Kirkland, Brooklyn, Kaislyn and Emmalyn Harp, Will, Canton and Ethan Clark, Harper Hudgins, Rory, Nathan and Avery Weatherall. William’s constant companion, “Little One”. And many other family and friends.

William is proceeded in death by his dad, William Starlin Chaney. His Grandparents, Clint and Oma Chaney, Willis and Virgie Fitchue. 

 Graveside service will be 10:00 AM Wednesday July 15, 2020 at Rule Cemetery with Brother Billy Burris officiating. Interment will follow at Rule.
