William Terry Obituary

William L. (Bill or Bunny) Terry age 94 of Berryville, Arkansas passed away Tuesday September 10 at Mercy Hospital in Berryville. He was born February 25, 1925 in Oklahoma to Albert and Lillie Terry.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Lola Merle Jackson Terry, infant son Donnie Terry, son Dale Lee, brother Tom Terry and sister Dorothy Terry Wells.

On August 9, 2003 William L. Terry was wed to Dorothy Smith Lee who survives him. Other survivors include sons; Jerry (Esther) Terry, Apalacin, New York; Bobby (Kay) Allen, Owasso, Oklahoma; Dean (Reba) Lee Hot Springs, Arkansas and Dwayne (Diane) Lee Prairie Grove, Arkansas.  Grandsons Jerod Terry, Travis Allen, Chad Allen, Isaac Lee, Hayden Lee, Henry Lee, and Chad Lee. Granddaughters Jaime Barkwell, Rachelle Mahai, Diamond Sears, Pearl Simpson, Cananda Lee, Nickie Lee, and Sherry Puckett and several Great-Grandchildren. One brother, Bud Terry of Oklahoma.

Bill joined the USAF at the age of eighteen and served his country for two years during WWII. Other occupations during his lifetime include Mining, Highway Department employee and operating a Filling Station.

While living in Oklahoma Bill was a member of Central Cathedral Church in Tulsa where he served as an Usher for 40 years. After marrying Dorothy, Bill moved to Berryville, Arkansas and became a member of Green Forest Assembly of God church.

Bill adored all his children and grandchildren and loved spending time with them. Bill was a wonderful Christian man who loved and served God and he loved his wife Dorothy whom he was happily married to for sixteen years.

Funeral Service will be Monday September 16, 2019 at 10:00 AM,  Central Cathedral Church, 1212 S. 129th E. Ave
Tulsa, OK 74108. Interment will follow at 1:00 PM in the Chelsea Cemetery.
